Is Economic's a hard subject to study?

i'm going to be studying economic's in college.

and every one has been telling me its a hard subject. i want to know that is so hard about the subject?

and how to overcome the parts which are hard. and is hard to get a A in the subject?

I personally found it hard because I wasnt interested in the subject and I never watch the news. But if your interested in it, want to make money, and aware of whats goint on arround the world (especially in terms of whats going on in the business industry) then you should do well.

Economics is surprisingly easy if you put the time into it.  The only class that really challenges people is Econometrics, but even that is easy as can be if you study hard!  Have fun with econ!

High level economics (generally the intro courses) are quite easy. Like any other subject, when you get into the really fine points, it requires a very thorough grounding in math and statistics. If that's hard for you, then you won't like it.
