  1. Electrical and electronic Engineers are well paid and in demand as well in comparison of civil engineers at present.

  2. Yes, unles you WANT to make bridges and roads.

  3. yes,ECE is more better than civil's.i have choosed this group . ECE is ever green group because you can go any field what you have intrested i.e.,in computers, electicals, software, hardware etc.but others has a choice of one possibility.if you take civils you have only possibility as contractor in buildings, appartments even job opportunities are less for it .so,it is better to take ECE.best of luck.

  4. hi my name ajay    electronic engineering is better

  5. no better. but its better for girls.

  6. any day electrical..its a well paid job since civil engg  is not paid well.also civil reqs a persons labour on diff sites and with materials..its not very comf i wud say... but ya good civil engg is sumthing our cntry needs...

  7. Both are good in its own way but my view about this is that Electrical/ electronic Engineerings are in great demand for job and the salary is better. Job oppurtunity in civil engineering is less.

    This is my view.

  8. Both of those disciplines have a fairly high demand. However, they also happen to be two of the most popular choices (along with mechanical engineering), so there's a lot of competition.

You should really just chose whichever one you prefer, regardless of the job opportunities they present. It's not like you'll be working at McDonalds if you chose one over the other.

  9. Not necessarily.  It depends on what you make of it.

  10. How can you possibly compare two very different and core branches on engineering? Job prospects are immense in both and both have their individual, unparelleled importance..

  11. really depends on what YOU like. Now, i don't know everything about those two but i think you can assume that you'll spend most of your time indoors if you go electrical engineering vs civil engineering. I would like to think that since much of civil engineering is roads and buildings, you'll be spending more time outside.

personally though, i hear that electrical engineers are in demand right now BUT civil engineers will ALWAYS be needed since we will always need shelter...

  12. Electrical engineers have their place that is just as important as cival engineering. One will never be "better" than the other... we will always need someone to be able to design a building site plan, and engineer highway systems. Conversly, we will always need people to engineer power schematics for buildings and circuitry for small electronics.

  13. I know of several people who have either one of these degrees and all have substantial jobs providing a good salary for thier age and level of experience.

I myself actually study Mechanical Engineering.  Whilst these 3 common engineering disciplines offer good job opportunities, from what I have heard from others and also read around my University, is that the Electrical Mechanical Engineering degree is one of the most sought after in the industry.  Perhaps you should sonsider this as alot of Mechanical Engineering is quite similar to Civil in some respects (Structural Mechanics, Materials, etc etc.  Obviously Civil is vastly different in other areas to Mechanical)

Anyway hope that is of some use to you!

  14. Offcourse Electrical& electronic engg is an better option to choose from the above two.
