She just seems to get out of line very often with that mouth of hers and seems to get by with it. Her rants get ridiculous and she seems to be able to argue her way out of a paper bag without even stopping to breathe.

  1. No, she appears to be a hardcore right-winger. If you think those are the criteria for feminism, perhaps you should take a look at your own "argument."

  2. All of the View hosts are feminists.  Bitsy is the resident Republican/Christian/conservative, which she became because of her husband, and yes, she is a shrew.  But she represents the opinions of the producers Baba Wawa (no relation) and Bill Geddie, so she's not going anywhere.  And you're right on with your assessment of her.  Check the online blogs about the View (jezebel, televisionwithoutpity) and see how she is laughed at.  They could really use a sharp, young conservative instead of her.

  3. No, Rosie O'Donnell was the resident feminist.  Hassellback is pro-family values, pro-male, anti-feminist.

  4. She is not an outspoken, intelligent woman. She is only on the show because of her husbands family, because she represents what the producers of the show think and because she pretty much disagrees with what everyone else says. Personally I cannot stand the woman. She is extremely one-sided, cannot see things from any other point of view except her own extremely narrow-minded one and is very rude and disrepectful to everyone on the show. None of the other women like her but because the producers are practically salivating over her and they might get themselves fired...they don't go back at her as harshly as they seem to want to...just look at what happened to rosie o'donnel. She is one of those women who think nothing bad can happen to them..just look at her responses when they talk about cheating husbands..she gets extremely defensive and almost panicky....and forget about it when the election or bush or mccain comes up...she is seriously obsessive over that...being a supporter is one thing...but she is anti-anything that is against her party. It's extremely annoying and I've even stopped watching as much as I used to because I seriously want to slap the woman sometimes...she really needs to get some humility and stop being such a pain in the patoot.

  5. She is an outspoken, intelligent woman. (That is the opposite of a Feminist.)

  6. She is in no way a feminist...although she's as strident and "logical" as one might be.  She is a conservative family-values type woman and every word out of her mouth is like claws on a chalkboard.  What is her type?  An idiot.
