my Hobby is aviation and i can reassure you the standard of emirates is the same if not better then the major airlines there like American united and delta and there in this grouping of airlines that are flag carriers of where they come from you will have no worries with them

I live overseas and I have flown with Emirates 3 times over the last few years. The first time I was not impressed. Rude, snotty, couldn't care less about passengers' concerns. Passengers stood and watched the ground crew inspect and take photos of the front of the plane for god knows what (cracks/loose bolts?) for approx 3 hours, no explanation whatsoever to the passengers. When I got on the plane and asked what was wrong, the male flight attendant snottily told me that the crew cared far more about their lives than the passengers, so don't worry about it. They wouldn't be on the plane with us if they thought it wasn't safe. Exsqueezeme??? I have photos of the ground crew fiasco.

Second time around they messed up my meal, my seat and the plane was dirty. When I pushed them for a vegetarian meal like I had booked, they said they had none and that I should have booked one in advance (I did, dolts!). I asked them to check again. I finally got some food but I gotta say, their food is something akin to hospital food. Flavorless, pasty and boring.

Third time the seat next to me was so filthy that it looked like it had a big fecal matter or menstrual blood stain on the seat, along with what looked to be cookie crumbs or something. When I pointed this out to the flight attendant, she just threw a blanket over it. I later went to the bathroom and discovered a filthy toilet seat, again what looked to be like blood or f***s on the bathroom walls, wet tissue all over the floor, etc. I have photos of this as well. They're actually posted on the internet.

I will never fly Emirates again as long as I live. If that's the kind of attention they pay to simply cleaning their planes and their customer service, can you imagine what level their mechanics and pilots operate on? No spank you.
