  1. I used to think it was but truth of the matter is the stereotypes are changing and the hatred between them is slowly dying. The chavs were given there stereotype for there anti-social behaviour, attitude and appearance (the gelled back hair & pony tail on the side of there heads). The other stereotypes, Emo , mosher , goth , indie ,punk have all formed one group "sub culture".

    There were times where people were picked on because of there interests and dress sence. However, i know where i live this has died down alot and now they even hang around together in my local town centre. There's no fights and there even sharing there cigarettes. Perhaps people are fighting against the stereotypes and growing up.

  6. Errm, in English you probably mean the division of people based on social background/up bringing? In which case you have Chavs, Scallys, Goths, Emo's, etc....
