Is Espartinas, near Seville, nice?

Coming from Canada (my wife's fluent in Spanish), we'd like to stay in a village and have access to Seville.

Is it possible to take public transit to Seville daily, for visits, or would a rental car be more sensible?

We have a baby. How are buses etc. with strollers?

Gracias!

  1. Yes, it's quite near Sevilla, about 15 kms to the West. You'l have to take the A-472 regional road.

Very nice village in the Sevillian(province Sevilla, that is) Aljarafe.

It's origen dates way back to the times of the Roman Empire and it's named after the patrician Spartus.

Famous is its pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Loreto.

There are buses to Seville almost every hour and the last bus from Seville leaves at 23:00. But I would prefer to rent a car, because travelling by bus within the city limits of Seville is highly time consuming.

Travelling around with babies is no problem at all: Andalusian people, like all other Mediterranean,  just love children.
