  1. nope, it's all about NASCAR here

  2. its known but not as well loved

what really hurt F1 here in the states was when they decided to park all but 7 cars at Indianapolis a few years ago

  3. until Scott Speed was sacked

  4. Yes, I love it.   I have been a fan since the 1970's

  5. I know of it and love it...  I do not like NASCAR very much but I understand why it is so huge here.  It is very easy (compared to F1) for the fans to attend many races per season.  The Oval layoust enable averyone to see the entire track without a Jumbo screen, and all the yellow flags give you plenty of time to go to the bathroom and purge all the Budweiser..

Personally Id rather attend 1 F1 race per season than any NASCAR race...

  6. Sure it is.  You have to remember that education in the US is pretty limited so simple entertainment is popular (ie World Wrestling Federation, NASCAR, the Simpsons).  These people find F1, like cricket, hard to understand.  For example, in F1, drivers change gear multiple times each lap, they use their brakes and they occasionally turn right as well as left.  All complex stuff when you're used to the high technology world of tractor pulls LOL

  7. its well known but it sucks and nascar rules

  8. NASCAR is the Sport here.

but i like F1 alot and Scott Speed was my favorite driver since he was American.

but now they don't race here anymore
