Question:

Is FF Wrong Or OPK??

Ok, so I chart my BBT.

FF says I ovulated on day 16 but + OPK was on day 13.

You can take a look at my chart and please let me know what you think!

I have missed a few temps because my son was sick so I didn't sleep for more than an hr at a time so I didn't even bother charting my bbt.

Thanks :)

  1. I would trust the OPK.

  2. Trust the OPK. Of course, OPK positive doesn't mean that you are ovulating right then.  It means LH spike has happened and ovulation is going to happen soon (usually within 24 hours or so).

Based on your chart and OPK, I would say probably ovulated around Day 15.

FF is a good tool to help chart using BBT and understand your cycle. It is not meant to be predictive and BBT is not as useful in predicting ovulation as OPK is (it tells you after you've already ovulated).

    Good luck.

  3. Well they say ovulation can occur 48 hours after a +OPK, so you could have ovulated late on day 15. I've been tracking for a few months with an OPK and I can just feel when I ovulate- usually two days after I get that 2nd dark line. Good luck!

  4. never heard about the FF thing. I would say the FF is wrong.
