  1. He has certainly tarnished that image of his. I think it is pretty crappy to tell your team you are retired while trying to sign a deal with a division rival. It would be one thing to want to leave a rebuilding team but the Packers went far last year. If he wants another plyoff run tell the Packers that. Instead he tells them nope im retired while talking to the Vikes.

Even as up till late June he was telling em he was retired! Thats after all the preseason mini camps draft everything. Not to mention he pulled this same BS last year.

GB would be stupid to trade him to a division rival. They would be stupid to let him become active at all based on the salary cap hit they would take. If he retires they are great under the cap. If he plays wether traded or not they are on the hook for a boatload of cap even if he plays for someone else.

After all his BS let him sit on the bench and watch.

  2. why I don't agree with what you're asking, i do think Favre is being selfish in the whole ordeal. It was his selfishness that lead to this whole saga in the first place.

  3. well i think he needs to show it in the field cause i think he sucks

  4. he should be able to play this year, for what ever team he wants

  5. you are wrong! He just wants to keep playing

  6. you are an idiot! they told him before he retired, if he came back it would be in a "lesser" role. he made a rash decision and retired. the man still wants to play and owns EVERY record a QB has. Let the man go or trade him. they owe him at least that. especially if he is not in their plans.

  7. Favre just wants to play football. He's being a little selfish in expecting to be traded to a superbowl capable team like the vikings, or being released though. Either way, i'm sure he's just doing whatever he can to make sure he's a starting quarterback and not just being a back-up or sitting at home.

  8. What if I always thought he was exactly that kind of a bag?

"Oh, he just plays for the love of the game..."

That's why he's accepting hush money not to play.

  9. well, everyone outside of Atlanta thought he wasn't a douche. As a fan of the team that drafted him, well, let's just say he's a douche and a half!!! Always has been. Always will be. And thanks to the media pumping his ego even more, it' looks like he has yet begun to douche!!!
