  1. I LOVE BRET FAVRE HE NEEDS TO JUST STAY WITH THE PACKERRSS!!!

    :(

  2. sadly probably not.  i'm betting bucs.

  3. Favre needs to get over himself and just stay retired.  Packer fans are rather stupid to want him back.  I'm glad the Packers are moving forward with a new quarterback and not indulging Favre's childish behavior.

  4. you know what? I don't care! Someone has to assasinate him so I can watch ESPN or NFL Network with-out Favre! Get this over with. I want the NFL. Not BFL. this is bullshit.

  5. god he should just retire already, this drama is not why i watch the nfl

  6. I don't think it was really ever possible outside of the media talking about it.

No one in their right mind in the Green Bay front office was going to let Favre play for the arch-rival Vikings as motivated as he is to stick it to the Packers because of how wrongly he feels he's been treated by the Packers.

  7. Yeah but I want him to go to the Bears. We need a quarterback that doesn't get intercepted on every pass he throws

  8. Yes, it is still possible. I'd love to see him go to the Vikings and come back to stomp the team that is turning its back on him.

  9. Not likely. If the Bucs are trading for Brett Favre it's because they want Favre to play QB for them. Why would the Bucs or Jets go through all this trouble just to help out the Vikings? Besides all that, most NFL contracts have stipulations to prevent just that.

  10. I'd like to see it but we don't need his drama.

  11. he needs to retire hes getting old unless he wants to get hit again and sit out.

  12. NOPE!  The Packers put what they call a "Poison Pill" in the trade to the Jets.  The Jets cannot trade Favre to the Vikings, or they would have to give up THREE first round picks to the Packers.  So that pretty much nullifies a trade to the Vikings.  The Packers know that Favre still can play.  All the "I'm retired", "i'm not retired", "i'm mad at the Packers" stuff made the trade happen.  I am sure, if none of the bellyaching wouldn't have went on, the arguing, the bickering, the over-inflated ego of Favre rearing it's ugly head, he would have been welcomed back as a backup.  There was too much hostility going on, too many problems.  The Packers would NEVER allow Brett to go to a team like the Vikings, which is in the same division, and which is looking pretty good these days.  They have two words going on there:  Adrian Peterson!  Plus some up and coming stars on the D-line, like Jared Allen, of course.
