Is Fay gonna hit South Carolina Hard?

Once Fay reaches South Carolina it'll be weakened already. All you should expect is heavy rainfall and a little wind. The biggest problem that you'll you face will be flooding.

The track shows Fay will hit Georgia Thursday, so you have plenty of time to prepare. The only thing to do right now is fill up your tank and get some cash. I live in South Florida and am waiting until tomorrow to see where the projected path is before I put my shutters up.

No, it will just become a Low by the time it reaches South Carolina.

It will go over Florida first and will weaken.

You have nothing to worry about. It'll just be alot of rain and some wind. No need to put up shutters or plywood.
