Is Featherback legal in the SA (Chitala lopis)

Question

I was told in one of my answers, that a chitala lopis may be legal in South Africa as they are in the USA. The one petshop says that it is blacklisted and the other says they might have had one before or it may have been a spotless chitala chitala. Please tell me if they are legal in SA, knowing that they are. No guesses!

I don't believe there are any laws restricting C. lopis in South Africa, or any other place, actually.  You may have to buy them online, or through the mail, though.
