Is Feb a good month to take a cruise to the Caribbean?

YES!!! February is a great time to go there.  First, its well outside the hurricane season so there no chance that your cruise will be altered or otherwise affected by the weather.  That time of year is great weather wise in the Caribbean; temperatures will be in the 80's  I have cruised to the Caribbean in December and January and the weather was great and so were the beaches and the water was great for swimming and other water sports.

If you are thinking of going next February (2009), now is a great time to reserve because the cruise lines give the best prices for early bookings far far in advance.  You can reserve by paying the minimum deposit of about $250 and then pay on time, or the balance about 65 days before your cruise.  If you later find a better deal or change your mind you can cancel with no penalty up to that final payment date.

That's my advice based on the many cruises I have been on all over the Caribbean.

i took a cruise to mexico on carnival and i would NEVER go on any other cruise line.

they have amazing staff member, who are very polite, and the ship is amazing.

ive never been on a disney cruise but my sister did and she did not like it as much as carnival.

as for the time of year, i went to mexico in december and the weather was SO amazing.

my sister actually went on disney to the caribean in january and said it was really nice!

Yes, it is a good time.

If this is your first cruise, Carnival would be fine, but if you have been on the more luxurious ones like Princess, Celebrity etc., then I do not recommend Carnival. I think Disney would be nice.

Those cruiselines are a good option for families with young children as they have many activities for them.
