  1. no, i don't think he's been playing well enough

  2. Logically you cannot go outside Mr Federer or Nadal to take this years title.

I watched Nadal at Queens and he looked pretty ready for a grass tournament, you never know though he may lose his powers without his trendy green top!/

If you look at the odds at the bookmakers they have these 2 as hot favourites, and these guys know there stuff, not may poor ones around!

I enjoy Wimbledon whilst having put on a little wager, but this year I think the value is going to come from some betting doubles or each way bets.

A silly patriot you may argue, but I fancy a each way double on the Murray brothers.

The site below has some good free betting offers, I've opened a couple of new accounts and you even get a free bet  to play with after you have made your initial stake.

Anyhow I'm going for Nadal based on what I saw at Queens, but I'm betting on the Murray Brothers :-)

  3. He is my all-time favorite player and I want to see him at least tie Sampras' grand slam record this season. Federer looked so invincible last season and I just knew that he was destined to keep kicking *** this season but alas it has not really materialized. His winning Wimbledon would be such a great boost for his psyche. It would rock for his many fans as well. Win-or-lose, he is still a god of the sport !!!

  4. No. Nadal is my favorite to win Wimbledon. Remember, the grass and Wimbledon has slowed down, and when Nadal defeated Djokovic at Queens, that was traditional fast grass. Plus Federer isn't attacking net that much anymore, probably because of the surface, so that gives Nadal the edge a little bit more. He came close last year, and will come closer this year.

  5. Federer is not my favorite to win Wimbledon. Why? I've said before that I don't think he's going to win a slam this year and that is based on his current form. His form hasn't improved much in my opinion. Even though he won another minor title in Halle, he hasn't faced a top 20  opponent (besides Nadal) in the last 3 tournaments where he really excelled.

In Hamburg he didn't face a top 20 opponent until he ran into Nadal. At RG his highest seeded opponent (before Nadal) was Gonzalez who's been on a free fall in the rankings for a while now. In Halle he faced Baghdatis who like Gonzalez is a former top 20 player in a bit of a slump.

All in all Federer hasn't given me any reason to think that he's going to win big this year. There are a lot more guys who can upset him at this year's Wimbledon than there was at Halle.

  6. Absolutely. Best in the world deserves it.

  7. I want Roger Federer to win Wimbledon.

  8. I want Federer to Win Wimbledon he is my fav tennis player

  9. Nadal is my favorite AGAIN this year..he was my favorite back in 06&07 as well lol. He can get the job done this year..if he can survive the first 3 rounds.

If not Nadal then Djokovic..or Federer.

  10. no, Federer is a sissy.

  11. yes, he's going to win.

  12. No. This year it is all Rafa all the time!  : )

  13. Yes, of course. He is the ultimate super-hero when it comes to grass-courts...simply invincible. People may go on about Nadal or Djokovic, but let's face it - they have not won 5 in a row, have they?

People will also tell you that Nadal SHOULD have won last year. Why did he lose then? Because Federer was superior to him.

Federer will also want to tell Nadal, "You may be the master of clay, but I am invincible on grass." I am counting on a Federer-Nadal final, and that Federer will give Nadal a sound thrashing, even worse than what he got from the Spaniard's hands at Roland Garros.

Go Roger. The world is behind you, and so am I. Show them who is the boss.
