Is Fema going to help families in columbus Indiana and where do people go for help?

Hi, I live in West Terre Haute, IN and also suffered major damage to my home due to flooding. I have been watching the so called progress with the aid for the past few days and we are officially declared a disaster thru FEMA but they are not giving funds or assistance to individuals, only state and local government which will probably not trickle down to the little people. So as far as I know the red cross is the best hope for help right now until FEMA decides if the citizens really need the aid or not...i for one know that we do!! Hope that helps!
