  1. We did a great trip last march. Flew into Orlando and did disney parks for three days and then took a rental car to Cocoa Beach and took a Royal Caribbean Cruise for a week.

  2. I actually just got back from Hollywood, Fl on business and stayed at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood. It was gorgeous and my fiance and I actually talked about how nice it would be to honeymoon there.

If you do Disney, that is fun too, I always see people there with the bride and groom mouse ears. I also enjoy Discover Cove, SeaWorld, and Sunshine River Tours in central Florida.

You can also do the Everglades and ride the airboats and see all the nature.

It is a really great state for whatever floats your boat. Stay in a nice hotel and enjoy yourselves!

    Good luck

  3. depends on where you go and when you go.

Watch out for hurricane season and definitely not AUGUST

  4. Not really...it's rainy in the winter months, hot and humid in the summer months, and there are cockroaches the size of Chihuahuas pretty much all year round.  Don't forget the mosquitoes!!

  5. It depends on where you go in Florida.  Northern Florida will not have as nice weather as Southern Florida in the winter months.  I'm a huge fan of the Florida Keys myself.  I'm a beach bum who loves the ocean, snorkeling, swimming, etc.  Also if you choose any of the parks in Orlando, expect screaming little kids everywhere, not nice romantic moments.  Don't get me wrong, I loved SeaWorld and Disney World, but it's not my idea of a honeymoon.

  6. Florida is a very beautiful place to have your honeymoon.

Check out clear water or west palm beach

  7. unles u like Bugs h8umiitdy and gaders!

  8. Florida in general is a beautiful place.  Just stay in a nice hotel and everything will be good.  Thats where i'm planning on going for my honeymoon too, Florida.  I've been there once before and there is so much to do, and the weather/sky is amazing.  (Besides the fact that it rains usually once per day for about 30 mins.)  It would be worth it.

  9. Yeah, Florida is a fun place to go.  It would be a nice place to have a honeymoon at.  We always go to Florida when we go to the beach (we live in Alabama).  I love it there.  However, I see that you're getting married in the middle of March so you might want to avoid places like Panama City Beach or Pensacola and other popular spring break destinations.  You don't want a bunch of rowdy drunk spring breakers to disrupt your honeymoon :o

  10. depends on where at in flordia...

if you go to a condo, not really, as there will be pesky children.

plus i think it will be slightly cold in march.

  11. Judging by your user name, you'll be visiting in March.  Beautiful weather, but that is high season for Florida so you will be paying the high prices.  You'll also have spring break to contend with.

I am a Floridian & love it here.  Especially that time of the year, you should really have some beautiful days.  As for places to visit, try looking these places up on Trip Advisor to get real visitor reviews (take with a grain of salt).

Fort Lauderdale (I prefer it over Miami)

The Keys (Hawk's Cay or Cheeca Lodge are amazing)

Sanibel for beautiful beach, but slower social life

Orlando - yes, tourist factor, but there are some really amazing hotels or you can stay on the coast - either Melbourne or Daytona Beach; as for the kids factor, I was just at Universal Studios & didn't have any problems with children - no kids of my own & not a "kid" person.  An amazing, romantic park is Discovery Cove in Orlando - must have reservations though.

Clearwater Beach/St Pete Beach - my hometown & a personal favorite.  Beautiful beaches, great restaurants, Busch Gardens & nightlife

  12. As a Florida resident I say "yes" it's a beautiful place for a honeymoon.  If you are looking for alot to do, Orlando is the place.  You can visit the amusement parks, and it's a short drive to the east coast to visit Kennedy Space Center, or the west coast to Busch Gardens in Tampa.

I if you're looking for a quiet romantic setting, Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers or Naples is beautiful for relaxing by the beach or pool.

The Keys are also a nice relaxed place, there is so much to see, but no attractions.

If you go in the summer months it will be hot and muggy, but the springtime is absolutely beautiful.

    Best wishes to you.

  13. What do you consider nice? I live in the Florida panhandle (Fort Walton Beach, on the Gulf Coast) and love it here. People come here to marry or vacation and sometimes they never leave.

If you like white sand beaches and emerald green water, then the Emerald Coast (between Pensacola and Panama City) is "nice". ☺

  14. Sure!  As long as you choose somewhere nice!!

I like the Ocean Key Resort in Key West.  It's a perfect location and there is plenty to do!
