  1. It's not necessary for human survival, but it keeps your teeth healthier.  Brushing does NOT get between your teeth, no matter how well you stuff the bristles between them.  Unless you have huge gaps between your teeth, I'd floss once a day.  Floss once AFTER you brush and see how much gross c**p comes out!

  2. Yes, flossing is necessary because the food which gets stuck in between two teeth does not come out with brushing and these food particles can cause the decay of the tooth. Flossing should be done once at bed time along with brushing. 3. Brushing removes a lot of stuff, but flossing gets out the smaller pieces in between your teeth that brush bristles can't get. It also keeps your gums healthy so they don't bleed easily.

  4. not completely so thats why you floss. especially if you have braces unless you want stains when they come off

  5. Flossing is to prevent gingivitis and keep your gums healthy.

  6. Most dentist will say that Flossing is more necessary then brushing as brushing leaves things behind that flossing gets out.

  7. Yes, flossing is necessary.  Even though you may brush well, you'll probably miss things that only flossing will loosen.  Flossing is very beneficial!

  8. Flossing gets out everything your tooth brush couldn't. It makes your gums not so red and puffy too. After eating meat or something, it gets in your teeth, most of the time floss is the only way to get it out. Floss gets out food, bacteria and such.
