Yes.

I began taking my daughter to France when she was 10. She loved Paris.

The first words she learned in French were "un crepe avec comfiture frais s'il vous plait" (a crepe with strawberry jam please).

When she got a bit older I allowed her to invite one of her school friends to join us and she loved playing tour guide to them.

Paris is a marvelous place to develop your son's understanding of culture, art, and cuisine.
