Is Fred Thompson correct: We need a President who doesn't consider a baby's life 'above his pay grade' ?

At the Republican convention here, former Tenn. Sen. Fred Thompson took a shot at Obama’s stand in favor of legal abortion.

Thompson made this case: “We need a president who doesn’t think that the protection of the unborn or a newly born baby is above his pay grade.”

Taking responsibility for ones actions is above Obama's pay grade.  He has had some very anti-American relationships with such people as Ayers, Wright, Davis, Soros and yet he sits up there and lies to America on how he wants to do good things for people- lets face it, he is corrupt and the only reason why he is running is so that he can get his foot in the door to destroy America.   Absolutely, everything is above his paygrade because he is unqualified for the Presidency and does not give a darn about Americans.   There is a nice hot place in store for him and Pelosi, and Reid one day......

Thats a yes and a no.  Pay grades are irrelevant.  We start to cross the line when we consider telling people what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.  At the same time we will look like monsters if we deny unborn children the same chance we had.  I prefer to think that if we get to a point where the government can tell us what to do with our own bodies, we got a serious problem.  And our problem would be equal if we turn our heads to lives right in front of our eyes.

Abortion is wrong and McCain has made it clear that if given the chance, he will appoint a judge that would support overturning the Roe v Wade decision that should never had taken place to begin with.
