Question:

Is Fremantle's Rhyce Palmer, the Rising Star winner, going to be better than Judd? Or is he already better?

He had a first year that left Judd's first year for dead. He broke all records for a first year player. He trumped the first year records of Buckley, Riccuito, Robert harvey, Crawford, Voss, Hird & Black.

  1. what kaity27 said

  2. Wow, those stats you have written are pretty impressive! Id say with a couple of years of hard football he can be, he has been extreemely impressive and consistant all season enabling him to grow into an outstanding player like judd.

  3. I'm the only person agreeing with what Zero said!

  4. he never be as good as those guys

  5. doubt it judd is an absolute superstar

  6. I am a freo supporter and i say Palmer's first year is better then Judd's first year though judd has been around for 6 or 7 more years then palmer i 7 years he may be better then Judd

  7. He is better already.

Palmer will poll more Brownlow medal

votes this year than Judd will. He deserves

to as well. Judd is over rated and only did

OK at the Eagles because he was protected

and fed by good players. Look at him this year

at Carlton. He is no where near as good as he

    was at the Eagles.

  8. You can't compare the two just yet mate.

One has played for one year, and is no-where near his peak, and the other is a champion!

Don't forget that some players which have great first years, don't always turn out to have great careers!

  9. you have to be kidding me?

Rhys was the only player trying in a very poor fremantle team

and he is an extremely poor kick of the footy

absolutely  cannot be classed in the same league as judd (who was injured in his first year)

    is he already better?!?!?!!?!

    seriously

    SERIOUSLY

    is that even a question?

  10. Hey WC Eagles. Just letting you know.

    Zero didn't say anything.

  11. what Kaity said and then Andy and Sue agreed with

to make that statement is completely ridiculous! i'm not Judds biggest fan but i know class when i see it and those 2 are not in the same class, when Palmer goes on and captains his club to a preimership and wins a Brownlow, then you MIGHT be able to make this statement, saying it now however makes you look like a goose!!

EDIT: you also forget one very important thing, 1 season does not make a full career!

  12. What kaity27 said & andyk agreed with.

Let's see him back it up next year and then ask the question again.

EDIT: Does the fact that he won playing in a crappy team make him better. I mean, he has still managed to rack up posessions surrounded by rubbish players - does that count for something? HMMMMM Must stop thinking about this and get back to cleaning the kitchen.....
