  1. Personally, I find French easier than Spanish, maybe that's because I've been studying it for a year longer but I find it hard that in Spanish it is only one word e.g. "Pienso" in French it's "Je pense" and English is "I think". In this sense the French is more like the English with two words

  2. spanish is easier than french. i think that is easier for the pronuntation..

  3. i think spanish is easier

  4. Both languages have the same way to conjugate verbs, which you have to learn. In Spanish you have to be careful to tenses agreements when using some expressions, and then you have to learn what is called "subjunctive imperfect". In French and Spanish there is a lot of conjugations which you have to learn, but if you do it seriously it's no problem. As for the vocabulary, well it's like in all languages, you have to learn it by heart, reading books and listening to the radio or TV. But I think in both languages the most difficult is to conjugate verbs. Well, there are patterns for each tense that you can follow once you've learnt them. But you'll have to learn some specific things, especially masculine and feminine words.

Anyway, learning a language is great :-)

I'm french and loved studying Spanish at aschool along with English.

just e.g the verb to work in the simple present:

French: travailler(to work): je travaille (I work), tu travailles (you work, for someone you know, one person only), Il/Elle travaille (he/she/it works), nous travaillons (we work) vous travaillez (you work, several persons, or one person you don't know or higher than you in hierarchy) Ils/elles travaillent (they work)

Spanish: trabajar : Trabajo, trabajas, trabaja, trabajamos, trabajáis, trabajan.

    Etc...

Maybe the difficulty in French is to pronounce to famous "u" ! while in spanish it's the same as the "u" in "sure" in English.

Once you know all that, try to weigh the pros and cons, especially how often you will have the opportunity to use which language.

    Work well :-)

  5. In french you have 3 accents in spanish only 1 . pronounciation is easier in spanish than in frech beacuse of how english is spoken...and grammar in french is more complicated than in spanish.

I would start with spanish and then go to french.

  6. I have taken both in High School and I would definately say Spanish is easier.  Maybe it was the teacher though....
