Is Full Sail in winter park,florida a good college for music producing?

Full Sail's great.  I think it's Recording Arts is one of the top ranked programs in the country.

I go for Graphic Design, but my fiance wants to go for RA and we went to a Behind the Scenes Tour for it once.  They take you through all the classrooms (studios) and show you what you can do.  One that they showed us was for students once they get farther into their program (one of the last months) where each individual student gets their own sound/recording booth to do whatever they want.

It's definitely worth the money and you'll truly benefit from the hands on experience (and being taught by industry pros), but the schedule is definitely not for everyone.

You will have classes 4-6 days a week (mine are usually 5 days a week), and usually 8 hours a day (4 hour lab, 4 hour lecture).  These classes can be at anytime of the day or night.  I've had labs until 1am.  Some have them at or until 5am.

The area is okay.  It's not the best.  People here are very stuck up and rude, and no one knows how to drive. ha

But the students are very nice.  You'll meet a lot of cool people.
