Is Fulltilt the worst poker program ever?

Here's the deal with bad beats online.  There's 2 key things in play.

1) Many more hands being played.  Online tables are running around 80 hands per hour.  Live, it's more like 15-20 hands in that time if the game's moving along.  That means strictly by math, that you'll see 4 times or more the bad beats playing over the same amount of time.

2) Worse players.  Bad beats come from inferior players going to far with hands that are too weak.  There are a plethora of this player type online, and will further increase the number of beats.

It sucks, but try to remember if you're seeing these beats that you're in a profitable game, and if you keep playing it'll come back to you, generally with some interest.

Just so you know just the other day i was playing a sit n go at the mirage and got two red aces, the flop came A-8-8. I knew i had the best hand and checked the flop, and so did the button. The turn came a 2, i this time lead out about half the pot and got a call. The river was a 4, so lead out again for a nice value bet, the button thought for a minute and made a huge re-raise where i right away pushed all-in and got called by quad 8's. So beats do happen all the time, it is just on-line you see more hands, and you see loser play as well from a lot of bad players. But there is no software issue at all, the deck is randomly shuffled and dealt out, just like any deck of cards.

If you think that the software is specifically giving you bad beats that would never happen with live cards, then you are sadly mistaken and destined to lose all kinds of money.

Full Tilt is one of the best sites out there, and to assume that just because you've seen some bad beats, that the software is flawed is honestly just being in denial about your poker ability.

There are a lot of donkeys who play on those free money sites. They will play anything for "fun". If you understand that you can adjust your playing style, and take care of them.

I can answer based on what stakes you play.

Low stakes=(

people that did not deposit money- free bonuses, play money sold for a few bucks, or borrowed a few bucks from a friend.) These guys will play any hand and get lucky a few times.

2. Multi tabling= a lot of hands. I was playing 4 tables on pokerstars and played around 600 hands in one hour(stats checked by pokertracker). There were a lot of bad beats. A LOT!

3. Playing on tilt: one bad beat results to bad play which results to another bad beat which isn't so bad since you played bad.

4. String of bad luck: Bad sessions happen all the time. Don't forget poker is considerend gambling.

5. Maybe a possibility: Online poker is rigged!

IF you can't win even after your best efforts, then get better at poker or just consider online poker rigged and stop playing.

Personally I always weird there is something wrong with online poker sites. But I still play low lmits coz ppl there cant even win after getting luck which just makes me laugh.
