Is GRE based on only GMat or does it have any subjectwise papers?

I'm studying in 3rd year B.E.When is the best time to take up GRE?What are the procedures involved in getting scholarships?Are there any coaching centres in Bangalore?

You will need to apply before Jan end max Feb end. But majority of schools have deadline between dec to jan.

GRE Preparation

It takes lots of time and effort to score more in GRE. Any score abbe 1100 is good enough to get admission for engineering majors.

Scholarship

To get admission with scholarship, you will need to score 1300+ in GRE.

GRE and GMAT are different. GRE is for doing a post graduation program (MS) in Engineering while GMAT is for administration (MBA). Check out www.gre.org / www.mba.com for more details about these exams.

To get scholarships, you need to prove to the University that you are a deserving candidate and you should apply in the first round itself. There are quite a lot of coaching centres..e.g TIME, IMS

Criterion for getting admitted to any university - GRE score, Statement of purpose, extra curricular activities, engineering marks.

Take your GRE during your 6th semester holidays, so that you can start applying to univs druing your 7th semester.
