  1. no it not good for you unless you are very active, like doing a lot of activities and sports and stuff, but if your not into that type of stuff, then he new Gatorade that they made (I'm not sure what it's called) its like Gatorade 0 or 1 or something idk, but you can drink that. its not exactly good for you, but for an nonactive person it's recommended or if your just trying to quench your thirst!!!

    Hope i help!!!!

  2. No, because you dont need all the electrolytes unless you are a high performance athlete. Water is good for any person doing regular work out. In fact if you drink gatorade for that kind of work out or just because you like the flavor gatorade might make you gain weight because of the ingredients that it has because your body would be getting energy and components that are exceding it needs.

  3. plain water is better unless you are a athlete and deplete your electrolytes

  4. No, unless you are a professional athlete or if you really work out a lot.It has too much sugar, and a lot of sodium. Plus, it is very acidic, so it damages your teeth.

It is useful only if you work out a lot and need to replace electrolytes and sugars fast. Even then, you're better off drinking diluted fruit juice with a pinch of salt- it is better for your teeth, it tastes better, and it has real vitamins. I'm a marathon runner, and both I and my running friends prefer homemade isotonic drinks.

  5. it is if you are doing some kind of sport or sweating. Gatorade gives salt into your body. if you are not losing salt and drinking Gatorade it isn't good, if you are losing salt and replenish it it's good.

    plus G2 taste good...

  6. I used to drink it when I had a hangover. It surely worked for me.

  7. My physiology professor used to work with the Australian cricket team, as they were sponsored by Gatorade, they had to be seen drinking it. But this was back in the day when it was hypertonic, not isotonic. So they used to water it down so it looked like they were drinking it, when really it was pretty much just water.

I think they have changed it being isotonic now, but it used to be hypertonic as it had so much sugar in it. Hypertonic drinks actually draw water from the cells into the stomach, dehydrating you. Isotonic drinks don't do this. The electrolytes like sodium are useful in heavy activity, where you are sweating a lot.

But otherwise its just cordial. You are better off with water.

  8. Not very many people need to drink Gatorade, most people just need to drink plain water to rehydrate.

Gatorade has electrolytes which become depleted after strenuous exertion & has sugar for energy. Most people don't workout hard enough to need additional electrolytes & sugar. Plus, the sugar is hard on teeth. http://www.webmd.com/news/20060309/gator...

  9. Gatorade is very bad for your teeth and so i dont drink it unless im playing a sport , i prob should just drink water.

  10. NO cause if you have epilepsy it will increase the amount of electrolytes in your brain and you'll most likely have another seizure

  11. personally, i drink Gatorade all the time because im a second degree black belt in taekwondo, so i always have hard workouts. its great because it helps me go the extra 4-5 rounds in tournaments! that's just my opinion though.

  12. No, it is not. There are tons of sugars in there, and the bottles are too big. Nobody needs that much, not even distance runners.
