Is Geek Squad actually trust-able?

I heard from my friends that when you ask them to fix your PC, they take some parts off your PC and exchange for different parts without yourself knowing. Or that you notice some memory is missing when you start your computer. So are they able to be trusted or not?

i just took mycompuiter in to them and they did a great job explained things thoroughly and had it done on time.  From what I have read, they consistently get better ratings than most computer repair services.

I don't know how "honest" they are but I do know the majority of their so called techs are freaking clueless . these guys for the most part have maybe 1 or 2 years of experience and can handle the very very basic of computer related problems . the level of service is no where near professional enough for what they charge . it is best to avoid them

yeah, they did a very good job restoring my moms labtop. I would say they do a really good job
