  1. genetically modified foods are not safe. though there were no reports of illness that directly associated with eating this foods, it is now a fact that CANCER is a common disease we are experiencing. Though they could not directly explain what causes this, we could always compare the lifestyle of those who acquire this illness to those who havn't. And it is a common knowledge that our life span depends on our lifestyle - eating, excercise, sleeping, etc.

And im quiet sure that our government is hiding about that facts on whether this product is safe or not. Making of genetically food requires a million dollar. So the companies or corporation who develop this has to find ways and means to sell it to that market. And once a certain govt won't approve the marketing of their product..BINGO! another dollars would definitely go out from their pocket. And would our corrupt politician say NO for that? Of course a big NO! And instead of not approving it, they would hide all the negative facts and genetically modified products goes to the market and everybody's plate and stomach.

  2. genetically altered food is safer. also tastier and cheaper. the GM food is made more resistant to disease, contains more better nutrients and fewer bad things (certain types of fats,, sugars).

  3. NO - and neither are most of the food and cosmetic products on the shelves. I try to only eat natural and organic food. The feds want us sick, poor, and stupid.

  5. Is Genetically Modified food safe? No.

Do you think the Governments are hiding facts of the safety? No. I believe that corporations are less than forthcoming with known issues and certainly less than diligent with respect to conducting sufficient testing on products beforehand.

  6. It has confirmed no IMEDIATE side effects....that's why i dont trust anything the NFDA says...it's all influenced by lobbiests who are funded by the food compnies to make laws lenient...and there's a lot of loopholes as far as what is considered a state or federal law...it's best to go organic but if you're not eating organic it's most likely genetically modified anyway.

  7. Nothing has happened yet, and a very significant portion of what you eat is genetically modified.  It is not a fringe element anymore, it's mainstream.
