Russia has a problem with it's neighbor that is in a dispute over a territory occupied by Russians. They are dealing with it the same way the US dealt with another sovereign nation, Iraq.

Is the President of the US keeper of all good?

Is he working for Peace or working for War?

  1. the Russains are the one who are starting it again they want the ussr back again

  2. he is trying to prevent a hot war.

  3. No, but Putin is.  The parallels between Putin's Russia and Hitler's Germany are astounding and Russia's aggression vs Georgia is nearly exact right up to the reasons (enclaves of Germans/Russians) Hitler used vs both Czechoslovakia and Poland.  I think perhaps ol' W finally realized that Putin was charming the west in the same way that Hitler did and does not wish to go in history as the 21st century Chamberlain (although the French President seems to be following the Chamberlain example).

BTW, McCain will likely take a harder line then President Bush has once he is elected - his background and military family give him better insight to these sorts of things then W has.

  4. You sensitive liberals never miss a stride.  There are over 1,500 Georgians dead.  The war cry:  "Its Bush's fault."   I quit you people are just too darn good for we the uncleansed.

  5. Georgia is a democratic country.

Georgia has been making overtures about becoming a member of NATO. Can you imagine if she already were?

The pipeline running through it is of significant strategic importance to US interests in Europe.

The world looks to the USA to act as its policeman. Twenty years ago there was a significant fear that the USA would return to its prewar (WWII) isolationist policies.

You can have peace and you can have freedom. Don't ever expect to have both at the same time.

  6. What i want to understand is why does America feel the need to help, or even comment, on disputes it's not even involved in.

  7. Yes.

America is the keeper of all good.

The fact that people like you don't care if your neighbor is raped and murdered does not mean that the rest of us lack the moral fiber or the courage to do what is right.

If, for some reason, you do not like the policies of the United States, perhaps you would be happier elsewhere.

    Need help packing?

  8. It seems that way doesn't it?

And the boy is doing such a d**n fine job of it.

The citizens of your country have my deepest sympathies.

  9. Putin and the Russian commies are trying to restart the cold war and bring back the USSR. Bush has nothing to do with what is happening. Except to offer aid to the displaced people as a humanitarian gesture. But then the left hates humanitarian gestures.

  10. Russia has a problem with it's neighbor because it's a free democratic country. It was once a part of the USSR. Russia wants to squelch and and all of it's former provinces from standing up for freedom. Putin is trying to restart the cold war. h**l, last year, Russia turned the natural gas valve to the "off' position and all of Europe felt the chill. Russia supplies 50% of natural gas to those countries and it wants to also control petrol because it's country needs more of it.

Get ready people. Russia will not stop. I think they will make a grab for the Ukraine soon. Another free nation.

PS The US was given an ultimatemn from Russia today in case you may have missed that. We were told to choose. Russia or Georgia. We chose to support Georgia. We will have our ships leaving soon with Humanitarian supplies to station in the Georgia ports.

  11. god will liberals EVER...get this right?  iraq was involved in ethnic cleansing..it was also involved with nuclear proliferation and al qaeda as of late.  considering georgia has seen NONE of these this is no comparison.

your question has  no answer as your analogy is skewed.

only from the mind of a liberal...LMFAO.

  12. He's trying to divert attention from the fact that he's leaving office with the economy in shambles and over $400 billion in debt.
