  1. Russia will only play with the former USSR states that don't have nukes....Their not dumb enough to play with Ukraine or Kazakhstan...and although they didnt start this war....their pursuit of Georgia really puts their fantasies of re-uniting the USSR at full display....they are nostalgic dreams at best.....they need to wake up....this isn't the 20th century anymore

  2. I suppose, that mr. Saakashvilli wished to resolve his problem (impossibility to initiate partnership with NATO, because it impossible during country have a territorial problems). And only 1 quickly way it's burn all Ossetia. He coudnt do it without NATO (US) help as result he began cry for NATO forces.

2 gfd_truck7. I think that you are victim of US propaganda or yourself is propagander. You doesn't know what are you talking about.

Chechnya - is the part of Russia. If you like to draw a parallels between theese 2 cases. The case Russia vs Chechnya is like Georgia vs South Ossetia where Georgia=Russia and Chechnya = South Ossetia.

  3. kalisrta get you facts straight. russia never attacked South ossetia. you're a moron

  4. Georgia is the next Chechnya. The Russians will do what they want with the old USSR and the world will just watch. It might lead to more small conflicts in the region, but I highly doubt a "world war 3".

  5. The "Georia's cry" is a political game the Prostitute Saakashvili is playing. He really thought the U.S. would be stupid enough to support him when he attacked South Osetia.

  6. I'm sure that we don't know much about the real reasons for Georgian attack on South Ossetia. If Condi blessed it during her visit a month before the attack, then it's an act of America's war against Russia and this is a very serious thing.  Russia just needs to save her face on the expense of Georgia. Russia is too weak for expansion and just needs to resist America's attempts to weaken her even more. By the way, Saakashvili, who failed the American plan, might be eliminated by American secret services because now he spoils their game.

  7. The Russians have agreed to a ceasefire, and although it is not being implemented well, this is more of a skirmish than a war and it is highly unlikely that it will escalate into a world conflict.
