Last year Doc Rivers and Pual Pierce said that Gerald didn't have the work ethic to get any better than he was. I hope he can turn his career around though!

  1. Unless he can develop a jump shot and play defense he will be after this year. I can dunk a basketball, but that doesn't mean I belong in the NBA.

  2. I don't think he is a bust.  He has a pretty good jumper, and a great dunker.

  3. So far, he is considered a bust, but his career isn't over yet so he still has a chance to bust out. Right now, he's just a bench player who isn't close to being a 6th man. Green seems to now be maturing and you may see him sooner or later as an offensive threat and maybe a mediocre defender.

  4. He's a player with amazing talent but is too immature to realize it yet. I think he has tremendous upside. He already jumps out the gym and has a solid jumper but has to get stronger and be able to dissect the defense

  5. i think he is all hype and the hightlight of his career was jus tht he was dunk champion..thts how everyone knos him if he wasnt dunk champion noone would kno who he is

  6. I agree with Doc and the best basketball player in the NBA Paul Pierce. Green is a bust.

  7. yes he's a bust; and if they had the one year college rule when he declared for the draft, he probably would have had to play 4 years at a University before being even considered an NBA prospect.  The only thing he can do thats worthwhile is dunk.  He needs to look into the And1 Tour.

  8. Well the reason the Rockets waived him is because he didnt do anything else but dunk. He did have a good showing in the dunking contest but he just didnt do anything else. He didnt play defense. Thats one of the reasons why we traded Steve Novak. Gerald Green only had 2 points as a Houston Rocket.
