Is Germany a good place to go for spring break?

It really depends on what you´re looking for! If you like partying, make sure you choose a city like Berlin or Munich which aren´t only great for sightseeing but also for partying. If you don´t know anyone you might find it hard to find the best places to go to though so make sure you go with a friend or friends that enjoy the same things as you do! The weather can play tricks on you in the spring though, it could be really nice and sunny but it could also rain or snow.

Generally, Germany can be a great place to visit, it mostly depends on what you expect and how you approach people.

If all you want to do is party and get drunk, maybe the coast of Spain (Costa del Sol/Costa Brava) would be a better choice as there are tons of young people with exactly that on their agenda :-)... AND the weather is usually really good already!

I could think of many places I'd rather be than Germany for spring break.  I found it to be rather "straight-laced", somewhat formal & rigid.  If you like that sort of thing, then I guess it would be the place for you.
