  1. my brother cured his GERD (acid reflex) by drinking raw cabbage juice made in a juicer.  It was so bad he had to be hospitalized with it..the cabbage juice (made in a juicer) completely healed it and he has never had it since though it had troubled him many years.

Kevin trudeau recommends drinking raw apple cider vinegar (this is the cloudy vinegar that retain the "mother" and it is found in health food stores or health food sections of some supermarkets.  Some brands of raw vinegar are Bragg's and spectrum..take a few tbsp spoon in water with either sea salt or honey (raw preferred)

It is doubtful that the drink have enough ginger in it to be helpful..I would go with either raw ginger, candied ginger (which i tasty) or ginger in caps or preferable tinctures..let me search around a little and I will add more soon. You might carry some powdered ginger and add it to your drinks yourself.

I am back..yes, ginger does help ..see the website for more on dosing and also try this tea

    Heartburn Formula

1 teaspoon each chamomile flowers, lemon balm leaves and licorice root

    ½ teaspoon slippery elm bark

¼ teaspoon each fennel seeds and catnip leaves

    1½ cups boiling water

1½ cups carrot or apple juice (optional)

Combine herbs and pour boiling water over them. Steep for at least 15 minutes, then strain out herbs and add juice. Drink 1 cup after each meal. Stored in the refrigerator, this formula will keep for a few days.

  2. Yes, it is soothing. So is Papaya. Also, laying on you left side helps.

  3. raw ginger is actually helpful for nausea.  The candied versions or drinks don't have much actual ginger in them.

ABIGAL...Kevin Trudeau is a convicted felon, a con artist, and his book is full of lies and dangerous misinformation.  Anyone who follows his "medical" advice is an idiot.  The reason he wrote the book is because a court order forbids him from making infomercials on TV anymore because of numerous past scams.

  4. Ginger is better for helping with feelings of nausea and can calm with acid in your stomach.

  5. Most likely, settled Ginger Ale is good for you:) I've tried it. It helps for heart burn and stomach aches:)
