Is Glitter Lip Gloss Safe?

Question

Just wondering, is it safe to use glitter lip gloss? Will swallowing the glitter cause any health problems? If the glitter is, like, metal, won't it be dangerous?

I wanted to buy some, but wasn't sure if the glitter was safe...what is the glitter made of anyway?

they tested it for year's on lab rat's, rabbit's, and monkey's to see it causes cancer or illness. would your goverment lie to you?

Why would you eat it for?

Truly i think you are over reacting. its just a small amount of glitter on your lips, not like you are eating the whole tube. Just dont l**k your lips or anything. I have had glitter on my eyes and it has fallen in my eyelids. I am fine. What comes in must come out i always say :)
