that's 10 feet of water if that happens automatically. artic fluctuates but never in history has it melted.

Will more then half of Florida be covered in water in 30 yrs or less, Imagine all those people, where would they go, and how much money would the government lose in property? and on top of that how much money will they lose to relocating the people....Imagine the taxes nation wide to rebuild or relocate people. now with the economy the way it is do u Think it will send America further into dept? will they do a rebuild period or build a wall around certain parts of Florida?

It will cause a great depression with the relocation, so many American business will go the state of FLORIDA and some National because INSURANCE company's wont have enough money to help.

Global warming is not a hoax at all. The situation is dire now and if we don't act now, it will only worsen. We need to acknowledge that we have the opportunity to prevent a large crisis and make the necessary changes as soon as possible. Just because it could get worse in 10 years doesn't mean we should wait for 10 years.

No, I don't think it's a hoax.  However, the Earth has gone through various phases during its lifetime.  From extremely high, unihabital temps, to a frozen wasteland.  I believe the Earth is going through global warming as part of its natural cycle, however, we humans are speeding up the process A LOT.

Here in Canada we've learned not to listen to the CBC for balanced news of any kind.  It's a leftist organization that presents severly liberal biased opinions.  To  nobody's surprise they went public with their unconditional support for AGW a couple of years ago.  

The news itself comes out of Colorado, laced with colorful warnings and guesses to assure more funding for their "research".  Oh, and NASA too...who want to continue with their funding.  And unfortunately, the CBC gets a certain amount of public funding.  Many here would love to see it stopped.  I've long been one of that group because a lot of what they air is wrong.

I'm totally convinced that global warming is a scam/hoax created by the left to serve the left agenda.  

The polar ice isn't melting any more than it always does in the summer.

No it is not a hoax! Global warming is happening here and now! we as a united world must encourage others to do something of the mes that we have created. Some people may not care about it, some may say that it's the new "religion", but global warming is truly there. I truly encourage others to go green, and be more friendly towards the environment, before it is too late. How would you like to spend the rest of your life living on the moon, or some distant planet, breathing man made air, and looking at the earth, as a burned planet, a dead planet. At this rate, this may be the fate of our planet.

   But the main thing is to keep your head held high, and to help our earth.

It probably is but that first article pretty much blamed the freezing of all the ice on el nino. Because the older thicker ice was pushed away.
