  1. Thats actually one thing you cant blame global warming on. Now if your talking about all the tornados lately and the snow they just got in Denver Colo...yes.

  2. it is weight of increased population

  3. You never know, things are changing in the world today

  4. "some scientists say".

Some will try to link the two.

  5. People now want to blame everything on Global Warming. Earthquakes have occured on earth for millions of years; it is a 'shifting' of layers of earth issue, not Global Warming.

  6. no, global warming should in no way affect plate tectonic movements.

  7. I'm sure Reverend Al Gore and his ilk will find a connection.

  8. No wayy! its just a coincidence...global warming has been "going on" for years...it has nothing to do with earthquakes ^_^

  9. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

    no

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

  10. What an original question!

  11. I seriously hope that you don't believe that an earthquake could be even remotely tied to weather conditions.

Even hurricane Katrina which hit New Orleans could not be blamed on any so-called 'Global Warming'.

Hurricane Katrina was only the sixth-strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded and the third-strongest hurricane on record that made landfall in the United States.

The US death toll for hurricane Katrina totaled 2541(1,836 known deaths and an additional 705 missing and presumed dead).

Compare that to a hurricane which struck Galveston Texas in 1900(August 27-September 15) which killed 6,000 people.

Hurricanes were not given names until the 1950's.

The New Orleans disaster was always an 'accident waiting to happen' and it finally did.

There are some fools who would blame so-called 'Global Warming' for everything bad that happens.

I just hope that you are not one of them.

  12. Well, there is a theory that oil is a lubricant and cushion for the tectonic plates in the earth. If by pumping out of countless billions of barrels of oil from the earth this vital cushion is missing then yes, in an indirect way some earthquakes could be blamed on at least the contributors to global warming.

  13. no

the Earth itself has been doing this for all its days, we have built homes, businesses, malls...etc. in places that are frequently having natural disasters. We as humans try to have something to blame, but Global warming is no more responsible for the earth quake in China anymore than if the whole population had started jumping up and down. Mother Nature or whatever you want to call it is volatile and has always been and always will be violent
