Look at the stats! Polar ice caps are melting, the average temperature in every region has raised exponentially int he last few years. The way that plants grow, the issue that we currently have with foreign bugs ruining the vegetation in areas that they are supposed to not be is all a sign that the Earth is warming and the animal kingdom is responding by adapting.

Weather patterns have also changed drastically. Hurricanes are in a similar pattern that they were right before the first Ice Age, major droughts are demolishing the system to life we have all come to know and live by - but hundreds of years earlier we were not so dependent on the plants we grow...I mean now we use corn for fuel and soy for a replacement in almost every type of food.

Today they say that man made carbon dioxide is the reason that the earth was warming

(its not anymore and is now cooling). Do realize that the number one greenhouse gas is water vapor?  Will we control that?  Will they have the gaul to tell us that we have to control water vapor?  Don't exhale, don't water your plants, kill your pets.

Years from know we will have these dinosaur windmills on our hands.  The corporations that built them will take our money to tear them down.

It is true.  It will take many years however, way past our lifetime.  however, we should be concerned about our future generations.

some christians do not believe global warming becuase they say the earth will eventually flood due to global warming, and in the story of noah's arc, god promised he would never flood earth again.

i am christian but i do think global warming is a serious issue we need to be concerned about!

Well, I see you have many answers. No need to be so long. I have learned that global warming is a fact, not fiction. That means it is true. I have been watching the news (weather, to be specific), and the good thing about what I watch (CW 11), is that they compare what in normal, to what we have now. We are above normal. The thing is, though, what it normal? Well, check out what else you got. My theory is that global warming is real, and as far as I have learned, all my teachers believe as I do. The Earth is warming...but what percentage is due to human interaction...a very small percentage, a percentage so small that you cannot assume that we are the cause.

I'm a meteorology student. My professor has his pH D from Purdue, specializing in climatology. Him, 75% of the other meteorology students at my university, two other of my meteorology professors, and I all do not believe we are the cause of global warming. There are actually plenty of scientists out there that don't believe as well but propaganda doesn't show this side. Some meteorologist are actually afraid of loosing there jobs if they speak out. And did you know that 100s of billions of dollars are put towards research to prove global warming is caused by humans while only about 100 million is put towards skeptic research. I hate the fact that Al Gore brainwashed everyone....

It is happening. But it is a natural cycle. It's happened before and will happen again. There is nothing anyone can do about it. Furthermore what humans have contributed in terms of greenhouse gasses or whatever have not caused this to happen. The world would still be getting warmer whether or not we were here or not. Every mammal exhales Co2. Does that mean that we should ban breathing?
