  1. Glucosamine sulphate is not the same as glucose. It is an amino acid where as the latter is a sugar.

Glucosamine sulphate is used by alternative medicine as a cure for osteoarthritis. However in a randomized trial that was carried out by Rozendaal RM et al no effect was shown.

If you need to raise your blood glucose [thus looking for glucose tablets] get Dextrotab or Hypostop [now also known as Glucogel]. I know that glucogel is 40% dextrose gel. Dextrose is another name for glucose so there you go :)

  2. NO, Glucosamine is a compound that has glucose in it but its properties are different.

  3. Nope, they are absolutely 2 different thing. Glucosamine is for your joint & cartilage repair. Glucose is for your blood sugar level.

  4. If you want glucose tablets, they are usually sold under a different trade name, Lucozade is one of them. And its usually a blend of fructose and glucose.

  5. No.

    Glucose tablets are just sugar.

  6. No. Plain glucose tablets will be in the pharmacy near the diabetic aids, because that is what people take when they go into diabetic shock.

  7. it may put a sparkle into your life

  8. As said above no. I buy glucose tablets in Boots, Holland & Barratt or my local supermarket

  9. glucose is just sugar, just add sugar to your diet
