  1. Sins? NO.

But I think they are very bad for your body and mental health. If you have one of these eating disorders you can't stop thinking of food either to eat or not to eat it. This keeps you from being happy and in peace with yourself.

  2. Gluttony actually doens't refer to just eating lots of food. It refers to being very particular about which foods you are eating and insisting on certain foods over what is readily available.

Like when my husband cooks green beans and I really wanted corn. If I went and cooked myself some corn so that I didn't have to eat the green beans I would be acting like a glutton.

  3. Yes, it is. The Bible specifically says that gluttony is wrong. You must limit your food intake. I have the same problem. Although I'm skinny I over indulge myself because I know I won't gain weight. Gluttony is a sin even if you don't gain weight. Anorexia is wrong if you cause yourself to become underweight, if you have health problems which cause it, there's nothing sinful about that. Bulimia is wrong because you are hurting your body, the Bible says that our bodies are temples of God and that we should treat our bodies with respect. Hurting your body doesn't please God.

"Proverbs 23:2 proclaims, "put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony."

Physical appetites are an analogy of our ability to control ourselves. If we are unable to control our eating habits, we are probably also unable to control other habits such as those of the mind (lust, covetousness, anger), and unable to keep our mouth from gossip or strife. We are not to let our appetites control us, but rather we are to have control over our appetites. (See Deuteronomy 21:20, Proverbs 23:2, 2 Peter 1:5-7, 2 Timothy 3:1-9, and 2 Corinthians 10:5.) The ability to say “no” to anything in excess—“self-control”—is one of the fruits of the Spirit common to all believers (Galatians 5:22)."

  4. It is one of the seven deadly sins

Anorexia and bulimia are not sins, but mental disorders, you can get help for those

  5. Gluttony is NOT a sin.  So don't worry about it  :)

And don't worry about sin.  The only way to be saved is by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  When you believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then you are forgiven all your sins past, present, and future  :)

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is this:  The truth is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal h**l is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you are saved!

Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die :)
