I was there for new years after a 15years return to see family.

It shocked me the coach loads of boys from Mumbai, Delhi etc who have come just to walk on the beach to see a white girl.

Has Bollywood sleeze created this problem? Are rich bollywood stars right to buy up loads of land there to build 2nd homes, which prevent Goans access to their own land. Same for hotels? Are Goans loosing their culture and identity which is why most of us went their in the first place?

What do you think of the fact that most people in Goa now and not even Goan but migrants. Will this benefit Goa?

  1. www.goatourism.com

  2. Gone are the days when only the elite used to go on tour. In view of the economic boom, more and more people within the country are travelling and the popular tourist destinations are becoming overcrowded and dirtier. The infrastructure has not improved commensurate with the pace of the growth in the industry. It is also a fact that there is a moral degradation, which is patently visible to every body.

  9. Yes, Goa is finished. All you need to do is take a beautiful place, develop it for tourism, let all the drunk Brits and Ozzies arrive and turn the place into one sweltering nightclub, turn the locals into greedy money-grabbing desperados, and hey, that's how we got Koh Samui!!!

    Vivs Goa, bye bye Goa.

  10. Yes ,surely

I wont say tourists should not come here in Goa but a lot of loss is occured to them as for especially konkanas (the one who speak Konkani) For they were pushed off from there .You must have observed temples there ,They were ours which was destroyed and made lodges for tourists there.............................
