Analog and Digital are basically two ways to present a spatial point in time.  There are ADC's (analog to digital converter) and DAC's (digital to analog convert).  The interesting part is the DAC uses a ADC to make an approximation digitally.  I really don't think you'll get an answer for your question on Earth.  I know about as much of God as you do.
