  1. Yes, its God's will that the the RNC should not take place.

That much egotism and fear mongering in once place might create a black hole of negativism that will suck the life out of the country

I love the dimwit above who said "its nowhere near the RNC."

I guess Faux News didnt tell you that they are trying to figure out what to do because Bush has cancelled his plans to attend because of Gustav and they are scrambling to figure out what to do.

  2. Now you hypocrites try to play on religion !

you sure are stooping low now little democrat traitors

"An Obama supporter talking about God is like a hooker talking about morals."  HAHA thats BRILLIANT !!!

  3. I am not a McCain supporter but believe that a God has bigger things to worry about.

  4. I thought you people were Godless?

Odd, isn't it that the Godless party would think of God only when it wants to make some twisted, half-wit, moronic and silly statements.

    Another dim witted democrap!

  5. Its nowhere near the RNC. But it is about to hit a state dominated by democrats.

Im just kidding around btw. I just thought the question was silly.

  6. I thought you guys were too smart for religion.

I know for a fact that Michelle Obama said you guys weren't going to use fear in this election.

  7. Yes, I believe when the Conservatives called for prayer to stop Obama from making is speech, God answer them with a Hurrican.

  8. I think it's poet justice that a hurricane is hitting the same area as Katrina the week of the RNC. It's especially funny, considering how the evangelicals were told to pray for rain during Obama's speech.

    Hey, Republicans. Got Karma?

Eric E., are you kidding me? Those States are hard-core Republican states.

  9. I wouldn't go that far, but I can't begin to tell you how many "I hope it rains during the DNC" statements I read. You have to wonder though.

  10. well, that sarah palin has ZERO experience, and so its rather ironic that his whole anti-obama thing is about obama having no experience. what i really think is going on, is that he cheated on his wife with this lady, and the lady threatened to expose it to the media if he didnt pick her. other than that i think its totally ok to think of john mcCain is a disaster, because many ppl dont realize that his policies mirror that of GW. bush and so they are bascially stupid.

many ppl dont realize the seriousness of this election. they DO NOT know that if they re-elect john mccain the iraq war WiLL NOT end, and McCain doesnt support wind, nuclear or other clean fuels. heck, we probably will NEVER sign the Kyoto protocol because the voters keep letting STAR presidential candidates like Al-gore, and john kerry lose the electoral vote. im starting to think the republicans are gonna end this country they only care about their own party and nothing else.(except rich ppl and buisnessowners)

  11. Nice going to wish  danger and destruction on a city just because the GOP convention starts tomorrow. Moron.

  12. hmmm, maybe so

    GOBAMA

  13. After Iowa supported Obama, Iowa was hit with floods.

After Kennedy supported Obama, Kennedy was smote with a brain tumor.

My answer is a joke, btw, just as much as your question is a joke.

  14. An Obama supporter talking about God is like a hooker talking about morals.

FYI- it is heading right for " Chocolate City", a place where they voted an incompetent black man as the leader. Guess whose voters this storm will effect more.

    " Gods a democrat"

Have you ever even read the bible? clearly not.

  15. There r no angels in politics

  16. No God is just finishing what he started three years ago by scouring the Louisiana and Mississippi coast free of low-income/welfare democratic voting scum.

  17. yes Mc cain have a mark on his right side of his face..math to one of the beast in the bible.

  18. Yes, God certainly must be favoring the party that supports killing 2 million of his babies every year

  19. i thought it was a hint to obama that he should go down and show his brothers and sisters he cares.but i guess he doesn't because he didn't show up!

  20. Of course not.  If you were to buy into that line of "reasoning", then you must also say that God was targeting the citizens of New Orleans (and surrounding areas) when similiar storms have hit that SAME area numerous times in the past (including Katrina 3 years ago at almost the exact same time).

Actually, the RNC is not located in the area expected to be hard hit.  The RNC is in Minneapolis, not the Gulf Coast region.  The RNC is "scrambling" to figure out what todo because a number of scheduled speakers are from states where the storm is expected to impact.

Naturally, they do not wish to leave their duties in order to attend the convention.  Following McCain's example and admonition to "serve a cause greater than oneself" is most important right now.  They are needed in home states.  Another relevant concern is for delegates from those areas in the storm's path.  No one wishes to see them endangered---well, except maybe a few Obama supporters who are overjoyed at the approach of this storm for their own selfish reasons.  (And I do realize that this is not all Obama supporters, but a look back at posts on this site in recent days is more than enough to confirm the truth of this assertion.)  In fact, your post could be taken in that light, thought it is certainly not as overtly nasty as some have been.

Back to your question, here's what Jesus himself had to say about such issues:

He [God] causes His sun to shine on the evil and the good, and SENDS RAIN on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matt 5:45)

  21. New Orleans is on the brink of destruction again and most people there have fled their homes, and you're using it for a shot at the RNC?  Lame.

  22. Yes, they're called HurriCAINs for a reason.

  23. Maybe New Orleans should be more worried.  McCain can reschedule the RNC but the hurricane cannot be rescheduled.  If I lived in NO I would seriously think about taking up religion.  LOL

  24. No the problems with the Democrats that have been ungracious and uncaring in their attitude. We do have better Republican governors in the southern states this time around with the hurricane. The over spending and their displaying of presentation at the Democrat convention shows that they have change in mind of helping people that need it. I don't need a convention with speeches that make no sense displays the way DNC did in Denver.  The real changes will come with McCain and Palin.  The big show in the stadium was a Hollywood production for a king.  Obama in his speech did not  acknowledge what really took place that day in history.

  25. Is God trying to warn us about Obama and Biden ? Two Acts of God  ( the Hurricanes) are following the Democratic Convention after they have just chosen their candidates ? After Hilliary sold out .. and for What , might I ask ? What did they promise her or threaten her with to cause her to give up and give in ? I'm very disappointed in her weak spine .

  26. If God is real, why doesnt he/she show himself? Is he that a coward that he uses hurricanes to scare of the Republicans?

  27. That's the most ridiculous question I've ever heard.

  28. No, God wouldn't warn anyone about them. If your common sense can't see that McCain and Palin would ruin the world then God thinks you're too stupid to even get out and vote.

  29. God is trying to wipe out the malcreants in New Orleans. Sometimes, it takes two flushes to clear the turds.

  30. There were some people who prayed for Obama's speech to be rained out. I hope they are seeing that what we want for others is also what we should want for ourselves. Love thy neighbor as thyself is because we are our neighbor. I think it is symbolic. The DNC was magnificent. People who ask what Obama is going to do can look at how well this event went. People can see how the energy of the RNC is filled with angry people (Arnold Swartzenegger wasn't coming because he wanted something for his state & threatened he wouldn't show up unless he got it) there is all kinds of negative drama associated with the RNC & peace, harmony & joy were manifested at the DNC. I think we have had many signs but some of us are not as good at reading as others & some are slow readers. Yes, I think for those that have comprehension trouble God sometimes speaks louder & this is a sign that voting for McCain is a disastrous decision.

  31. YES I THINK IT'S A SIGN FROM HEAVEN WARNING US OF THE WARMONGER JOHN MCCAIN There are many  question that need to be answer about the Mayor from Alaska Palin .We know Gov. Sarah Palin has some baggage that makes her a pretty risky choice for McCain: she's embroiled in an abuse of power investigation, was for the infamous "bridge to nowhere" before she lied about being against it, is pretty cozy with corrupt Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens, doesn't exactly know what the vice president's job actually is, etc., etc.Palin is not ready to be president .
