  1. I've helped people who didn't realise they needed help.  Plenty of times.  And I'm not even omnipotent.

  2. only if God is all-powerful

  3. He does every moment of every day.  It's ultimately up to the individual.

  4. I think God needs psychiatric help.

One time he rained fire on thousands of people just because they were having s*x too much.

Thats right, he burned people alive for butt *******.

    He's WORSE than Satan, imo.

  5. we will never know how much a sovereign God does in our life to help us.  Much more than we imagine I think. But grace, for salvation has to be asked for.

  6. No.  God is not a rapist.

  7. He's not really omnipotent if he can't...

  8. God helps those who help themselves.

  9. That is a very good question with no easy answer. For, depending on the belief of each individual, the answer changes. The higher power is able to help anyone even if they do not ask for it. In some cases someone may ask for them. Some religions believe you have to ask for help in order to receive it, others believe when help is needed the higher power will step in.

Having faith alone though, you will find help when it is needed whether you ask for it or not. For when you are on a negative path spirit guides and Angels as well as the higher power will set up roadblocks and obstacles to encourage you to turn around and find a path more positive.

  10. Why do Christians post questions on yahoo answers? It's like a mouse going into a mouse trap.

Almost 1/2 of the people here are NOT Christian. And half of them will be from arrogant Atheists making jokes because they have nothing better to do.

  11. God helps EVERYONE everyday, God lets the sun rise and the rain fall on the just and the unjust. God helps you more than you think.

  12. Luke 18:9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

  13. Yes.  The entire earth benefits from God.  It is His hand which restricts the outpouring of evil from Satan.

But if I understand your question, you are asking why people who don't believe in God blame God for evil in their lives, and use this to defend their lack of belief in God.  This is why I started with the above paragraph.  Too many people look at it backwards, as if God owes them good.  Instead, we are supposed to have a thankful attitude that it isn't worse.

  14. h**l yes!

I was arrogant and thought I could do everything! But until I made one stupid mistake and boom... my future was screwed.. But then God gave me hope and now I'm doing perfectly fine.

From super arrogant, Asian pride thing, hate and disgust of others to Caring for others, becoming humble, don't care about pride because it's rude and everything, boo ya. Without God I'll be good as dead.

  15. Yes, He is and He does too. He lets the sun shine on the unbelievers too.

He will let you to reject Him though but until the end He tries to call people to Him. He knocks and knocks the heat's door

  16. Not really, you have to feel the need first.

  17. God is bound by eternal laws as well as we are bound by various kinds of laws in the universe.  God is BOUND by those laws when we do what He says.  When we do not what He says we have no promise.  So when we receive blessings from God it is due to our obedience to certain laws that bring about His blessings.

His ability to help, do, bless, etc is relative to how we place ourselves in a position to receive His help, guidance, blessings etc.  Beyond that understanding of my own, I'm not sure we know how much MORE God can or will do for man.  When you look at this all in terms of eternal justice, mercy, fairness and grace it's hard to fully comprehend..  BUT I believe all those things must be balanced, don't you?
