Do you see this as a sign that God is punishing our nation for not listening to his Word and accepting him into our lives.

  1. Not God, mother-nature.

  2. No,No,No,No, hurricanes are a natural and necessary part of the planet's weather patterns. They have a real purpose to stabilize atmospheric conditions. Only in man's mind and ego does anyone consider it a "punishment". Hurricanes have been in the Atlantic and Gulf long before people have. I wish people could look beyond their egos long enough to see the big picture. So called natural disasters have a necessary purpose required to maintain the dynamics that support life on this planet. It's not always about the people, you know

  3. Thats jsut crazy talk, the bible says the sun shines on both the righteous and the wicked. Judgement day will sort them out

  4. If that's the case, why do so many believers suffer? Couldn't god be a bit more focused with his/her/its punishment (he/she/it is supposed to be supremely powerful after all). What you're suggesting is similar to blowing up a town full of innocent Iraqis in order to take out a handful of insurgents. Isn't god supposed to be above such things, or do you really believe he/she/it is so shallow and vain? In which case, why do you worship him/her/it?

  5. Sure why not,,but i dont think so

  6. Shouldn't this question be in the delusional section. Get an education you will know why.

  7. Yes, God wants to deliver punishment unto the idiots who decided to take up residence in that soup bowl after Katrina.  I say let God kill 'em all and... well, then sort them out!

  8. God is a loving God that does not "punish".   Hurricanes have always been around

  9. punishment from mother nature for not listenin to environmentalists .

if u don agree with me watch "an inconvenient truth" by al gore.
