  1. I see no reason to think that God did not use the principles of science to make the world. After all, science could simply be our attempt to figure out how God does things.

  2. God is just as improbable before the Big Bang as after.

  3. If I wanted to know how a light bulb produces light I would read about it in a Physics book.  If I wanted to read about an ancient people and their beliefs, I would read about in the Bible.  Saying that God took care of everything before the Big Bang is like using the Bible to explain light bulbs.

Even though science doesn't know what was before the big bang, that doesn't mean it is unknowable.  Think for a moment about the Law of Conservation of Energy.  This Law states that energy cannot be created.    If this law is true then there can not have been a beginning, else energy would have been created.  Does this explain what happened before the Big Bang?  No, it doesn't, but it does say that energy existed.

Geology has a saying, the present is the key to the past.  This means if you want to know how the Grand Canyon was formed, look for an answer in the present.  You might notice how a stream of water cuts a channel through the soil.  You know that the Colorado river runs through the Grand Canyon, so maybe the canyon was formed by running water.

So what was before the Big Bang?  Look around, it was probably pretty much like what you see.

  4. You could say that. Of course, any theory about the creation of the universe is only speculation. We'll never know for sure.

  5. before time began? there was always time.

but if there wasn't, what happened "before time began"

and what do you mean by what "happened" after?

  6. Only if you are lazy.

That is God in the cracks.  Is thunder still the result of Thor's agitations?

  7. Nope.
