  1. If this is the case, then i hold it in a supreme foundation of the animal world. Time is an animal world that is mourning the corruption of God.

  2. I think that the idea of God is that He exists outside of time... The bible calls this Eternity. I believe that "time" is merely a tear in the fabric of eternity.

  3. Interesting concept.  It would really change physics profoundly. . .

    Distance = Rate x God,

    Acceleration = Distance / (God)^2,

    You would measure Frequency by counting how many waves go by per unit of God,

    The farther you see through the Hubble Space telescope, the farther back you see through God.

    According to relativity, as you accelerate you experience

    God dilation, and

    As something approaches the speed of light, God tends to stand still.

    If God were time, then God would therefore be measurable.  In business, we would say "God is Money".  By extension, then, the love of God would be the root of all evil?

    People would move through God (rather than "God moving through people".)  If you play the waiting game, then God is on your side.  You could spend God at work, and even waste God simply by doing nothing!  And all your food will be ruined if you let God go by too much before you eat it.

    No, I'm pretty sure that God is not Time.

  4. There is nothing but the 'now'

    Read the book 'Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle :)

    Very interesting

    Paul

  5. Yes god is everything and everything is god, Time like other forces in the universe are there to create the illusion that we are separate from each other and create the illusion that every thing happens at a different time. I know it sounds strange but I think it's true :)

  6. if god is time, there would be no time at all.

  7. if god is time then time is god.

    but is god time? no...

  8. Time is nothing more than the motion of the universe itself.  Without motion there can be no time, or at least no perception of it, as it would be impossible to measure.

    Time, as humans tend to measure it, is the illusion.  There is no going back, in my honest opinion.  Only forward.  The past only exists in the memory of existence.  That said, simply because there is space and other influences set up in the universe which allows for motion to exist, it does not necessarily mean that there is time.

  9. Um. . God is everything? I think? haha

  10. Time is energy, and there are many different energies.

    God is said to be unlimmited, so God is time, would be reducing God vastness.

    God is  he from whom everything emanates, including all energies. So God is the source of time.

    Time is one of God's unlimited energies.

  11. Our recollection of what we call time begins at the Big Bang or if you like at  Genesis 1 verse 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. "   actually there was light, energy plasma and sub atomic particles but if you were Moses would you have wrote the other 2?  Few today with modern science can give you a good answer of them little alone 3500 years ago!

    God created time, the universe and all in it as we see described in Acts 17 by Paul.

    God sits outside time and space and can see the beginning and the end unlike us temporal beings that see time in a linear progression.  Bascially like time to him is like a line on a paper while we are stuck walking on the line and cannot see the future or the past only the instance we are on.

    Now time... that is a sequential seried of events or time intervals that cannot be repeated,  and proceeds in a continuous order into the future.  Time itself can actually be affected by gravitational fields as shown by sending atomic clocks into space (low gravity) and the miniscule effect of the earth's gravity on the base clocks.  Some of the current theories I have seen suggest that near an exceptionally large gravitational field such as a black hole time may slow drastically but that is a theory and based on the evidence seen on earth and local space.

  12. Time is measurement...measurement of what little of God that we have left.
