  1. golf is a sport enjoyed by all ages and unless you have tried it don't give an opinion I have never met anyone whos tried it and not loved it


  2. Absolutely.  

    You need hand/eye coordination.

    Use use a club to hit a ball in a certain direction and distance.

    You have many shots to master.

    You need to master the mental game as much or more than the physical game.

    If you walk, then its also a workout.

If you dont think golf is a 'real sport', you are just ignorant.  Golf CAN be played in an unathletic way.  For example, If you ride a cart and drink a 6 pack and shoot 100.  But for those taking the game serious, it is absolutely an athletic endeavor.  If golf isnt a sport, tell me what is.  Does one have to jump, run, and toss their bodies on the ground to have participated in a 'sport'.

  11. Oh yes!  I'm mentally and physically exhausted after a round of golf.  It's more grueling than tennis.
