Is Golf cadeeing Safe for a 12 year old?

Is golf cadeeing safe I am 12 and i need money to buy things that i want and i have been considering the golf thing but im not so sure its safe, and does anyone know how much it pays?

I think it is, i Started as a caddy at the age of 11 and did it for about 3 years until i got a better job. I think it is a good and worthwhile experience. Best bet is if there is a nice private club those are the place where the caddy money is the best.

I think it's a great job to start. Caddying doesn't exactly have an age limit, you just have to be strong enough to carry a bag or two around for awhile. You'll gain experience, check in with a country club or course nearby you and see if they offer this job. Usually older, fancier courses have caddies (a Caddy Program) that is offered. I'm 15 and I'll be doing that this summer. You will mostly get paid through tips but you'll get lots of friends and learn more about the sport. Good luck! On with the caddies!

its not legal until you are 16. You must have a drivers license to drive a golf car. Also, it's plenty safe. It pays differently everywhere.

At a public course NO, at a private club YES.   You probably have to be a junior caddie because of your age and lack of knowledge, you just carry the bag and don't say anything.   You could probably earn between $30 and $60 dollars per day, tax free.

If you have a local course with players that have respect for the game you, then I say sure... if you can carry a heavy bag.

BUT at 12 are you old enough to get a work permit?  If you have a family operation, then you may be able to get around this law.
