Is Google ruining my bounce rate? It's doubled in 2 months!?

In the past two months, the bounce rate on my website has doubled. I checked Google Analytics and some of the biggest offenders to bounce rate is Google itself. We're talking 50%, 65% on all different Google sites worldwide. Either the address refers to an image on google or just an international version of Google.

Has anyone experienced this too? I have a few other non google sites with not so hot rates, but Google is the tops. Is there a remedy to this? I keep my homepage current and try to exchange links with decent sites.

so what i get from your discussion is that 50% is good 60% is normal and 80% is common from google traffic, if i read it right?

so the solution is to create an alternative traffic source beside google.
