  3. I had a student named Gordon who would tell the class about the volcano in his backyard and the new species of sharks and tigers he was discovering everyday.  He was weird but very smart.  I like the name though.

  4. Yes it is.  I like that someone named Gordon will always know when he's being spoken to, as opposed to all those children named Matthew, Aidan or Jacob....

    and as for the cuteness factor that might bother you, call him "gordie" or something till he grows older.
