Is Gothic really a feeling within?

They say only the individual can determine whether he or she is goth, that it is a feeling that comes from within. Is it true? Because I feel very goth but I don't know how to tell if I am.

Irrelevant ... you are what you think you are . Why do you need a label?

Well it would have helped if you had said why you feel Goth. There are so many levels from Christian Goth to really grusome ones...take a look at Gothic Beauty magazine online.  Google search Goth and you can read a lot about their interests, clothing, and history.

Favorite literature is Lord Byron,  Keats, Kipling, Poe, and others.
